Project 1... Done!!!

I am quite proud that I finally got one of my projects done! I git this night stand at the D.I. for $10 I believe. It was a MUST BUY!! So I hauled it off and got to work. 3 Months later, I actually finished the darn thing. I have been working on my entertainment center while I have been doing this project si that is why it took so long. I really liked how it turned out. I am going to be re-doing my master bedroom and the shabby-chic look it what I am going for. I also intend on buying a gorgeous green quilt and a white duve cover. Green and White's... it will look awesome once it is done.

Past and Present Projects

I am very excited to make my first post on this sister blog of ours! I hope its ok that i post pictures of things that i may have made years ago, and not just recently. Here are a few paintings that i have made sporadically. I really enjoy to paint and want to continue doing it for as long as i live! And as you can tell the other picture is of the book wreath. I saw Angie's the other day and i was surprised to see how different hers looks from mine. I want to see Marni's to see if hers is different too. Different artist different creation right? More to come!

Summer Project...

I feel honored to be the first of us girls to post. This fine piece of furniture is going to be my summer project. I bought this, along with a night stand on ksl.com for $50. I thought that was a great find on my part. I have been wanting to transform an old wood dresser into a TV console. There will be some changes here and there but I DO want to keep the same look. I am going to keep the hardware... just spray paint it a different color. Stay tuned for the final product!
